Found this place through Google map with good reviews, now I have to be one of them :) Staff are all very friendly, especially to an English speaker from out of town, they told me what they like I asked for recommendations. My husband and I had their goat and beef, and then add a plate of chicken on the side just because it was so good and I wanted to try more. The meat was dry and tender at the same time, no extra fat and so flavourful! I also liked their pickles that are sour as I desire and the spiciness just at the right amount, the rice was cooked perfectly just how asians love it :D They also have drinks I haven’t seen before, tried the banana flavoured Soda, it was very banana I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy a simple bite with great service and atmosphere. Love it!
We had an amazing dinner here with our multi-generation family. We had the goat, beef, chicken, and spicy chicken with plantains, rice, jus, and macaroni salad. We also drank Kola Champagne and Malta Cola. The service was very friendly and informative, as we had never tried Haitian food before. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody!
Very pleasant surprise, it was my first there and the food was amazing. The meat was delicious , the rice was incredible and the plantains were just perfect . I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. A must if you are in montreal.
Yoo the best food!! Waiter was amazinggg le fils des proprietaires he was so nice & personable. The food was 10/10 , everything was hot, fresh and came super fast! Ambiance was super homey with nice music. Like honestly you could come here on a first date or a dinner with all your friends and they will make your night 100 times better. Btw j’ai seulement une photo de mon assiette apres avoir termine c’etait trop bon ** service was sooo top. They closed at 8 pm but let us stay talking until 8:45 pm & there wasn’t even a tip option on the card machine. This is a place that deserves all the praise
The food was incredibly good!! The pork was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Yum! The setting was cute. The staff was friendly.
Discovered this place by accident and let me tell you, it s been long time I have tried grillo this good and tasty. Really liked this small place, feels like a family restaurant, very clean and prices are so amazing for the meal I got. The rice is so perfect I enjoyed this with some spices it included in the meal. Totally recommend this place to those who love Haitian kitchen!
Atmosphere and service was excellent! Food arrived promptly and were good portions for the price. The chicken was especially tasty with a crunchy, spicy outside skin. The goat was a new dish and was also very tasty. Would have prefered glass plates and silver cutlery when dining inside. Great overall experience!
Very delicious, the rice especially is cooked perfectly; soft and incredibly flavourful. The BBQ chicken was also delicious and cooked to perfection.
